Radical Kurti's party was defeated in the elections in Kosovo
The party of the current “Prime Minister” of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, “Self-Determination” failed in the elections even in those municipalities of the region captured by the separatists, where it gained more than 60% during the parliamentary campaign in February.
This was reported by the local publication Novosti, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Kurti suffered a complete defeat - of the 38 municipalities in which elections were held, Self-Determination did not receive enough votes to win in the first round.
At the same time, the chairman of the Kosovo Liberation Army, created by the militants, Memli Krasniqi, announced victory in South Mitrovica, Ferizaj (Urosevac), Skenderaj (Srbica), Kacanik. Also, candidates from this party advance to the second round in Prizren, Glogovacn, Vushtri, Stimle, Dragashn, Malisevn and Kline.
In turn, another former field commander, leader of a criminal clan and ex-“Prime Minister” of Kosovo Ramush Haradinaj said that his “Alliance for the Future of Kosovo” won in Djakovica, Suva Reka, Orahovac, Klin, Decani and Junika, and in Istok its candidates advance to the second round.
The failure of “Self-Determination” can be attributed to the fact that during several months of “premiership” Albin Kurti, following the instructions of his American supervisors, was only engaged in provocations against Serbia and a diplomatic war with Belgrade, while the economic and social spheres of the region completely sank.
