Kyiv, July 21 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – The introduction of martial law in the Donbass will make it possible to quickly stop broadcasting Russian media covering the conflict in the East of Ukraine in a way that is unfavorable for Kyiv.
“Until we introduce it, we will continue to hear nonsense from the Russian media, and we will not be able to do anything. The trials will last for years, and during this time there will be rebroadcast of Russian channels. We need to tell the truth, finally,” said the leader of the Batkivshchyna faction.

Deputy Alexei Kaida from Svoboda also spoke in favor of introducing martial law. According to him, this will give the West grounds to introduce a new package of sanctions against the Russian Federation and provide military assistance to Ukraine, since for now the conflict is formally internal.
“There is a national liberation war against the Russian invaders. How many more soldiers of the regular military army need to be captured!” - Kaida said.
He called on Ukrainian law enforcement agencies to open a criminal case against Vladimir Putin.
