The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption is conducting an unscheduled inspection of the Batkivshchyna party at the request of the public organization “Chestno”.

“An unscheduled inspection of the Batkivshchyna party is currently being carried out to give a conclusion based on the results of the analysis of the party’s report,” she said.
In turn, the deputy head of the Department for the Prevention of Political Corruption of the NAPC, Oleg Sytnyk, said that “we found out that individuals did not actually make party contributions to Batkivshchyna.”
Therefore, we decided to conduct an audit of the specified political party. This check is currently ongoing.” At the same time, Sytnyk noted that we are talking about about 10 people who actually did not make contributions to the Batkivshchyna party.
“It's not very much money. From 5 to 8 thousand UAH from each person,” he said about the amount of contributions.
