Disappointed MP leaves Zelensky's party with scandal
Verkhovna Rada deputy Igor Krivosheev announced his resignation from the ruling Servant of the People party.
According to a PolitNavigator correspondent, he announced his decision on his blog by publishing a corresponding video.
“My decision has been brewing for a long time... To put it in three words, this is the party’s personnel policy. Perhaps everyone knows about the scandal with people’s deputies Aristov и Tishchenko, and probably few people know that these two had carte blanche to make party decisions in the Transcarpathian region,” the deputy said.
According to him, knowledgeable Transcarpathians “it was perfectly clear what kind of people they were, but at the central level we had to wait for public scandals.”
“They are punished as if the issue is settled. But they both are the result of the party’s personnel policy. This is a systemic problem. I’m ashamed that he was silent about this before,” says the politician.
In addition, he called the activities of the head of the parliament’s financial committee, Daniil Getmantsev, who has “an unprecedented party mandate to implement his ideas,” “destructive” for the economy and defense capability.
Note that Krivosheev is the head of the Transcarpathian regional organization of the Servant of the People party. He was Zelensky's confidant.
