Parubiy came to the departmental clinic together with people's deputies to personally thank junior police sergeant Vitaly Fastovets.
“Vitaly said that the unknown person quickly ran along Grushevsky Street and turned onto Krepostnoy Lane and already on Krepostnoy Lane began to move more slowly, thinking that he had pulled away. When Vitaly and his friend ran up to him a few meters away and ordered him to stop, acting like a professional, the unknown man, without turning around, pulled the pin and threw a grenade behind him, which was obviously in his hands.
According to police officers, it was a live grenade. Thank God, the injuries Vitaly received do not pose a threat to his life,” Parubiy wrote on his Facebook page.
As PolitNavigator reported, on the night of December 23-24, in Kyiv, an unknown person threw a grenade at a group of deputies, among whom was Parubiy, a few tens of meters from the parliament. At the same time, the politician called the attack harmless - Parubiy claims that it was worse during the shelling in Donbass.
