Parubiy wants to legalize the combination of a deputy mandate and the position of minister
Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy states that he is in favor of amending the Constitution, which provides for combining the positions of a people's deputy and a minister in the government.

He stated this today in an interview with journalists in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The only bill that is in the Verkhovna Rada that provides for changes to the Constitution is a bill that provides for combining the positions of a minister and a people’s deputy. Personally, I support this idea... This practice exists in many European countries. It makes it easier to pass political crises, it allows you to maintain greater cooperation between parliament and government,” Parubiy said.
At the same time, he noted that this bill has not yet been reviewed by the relevant committee, and therefore cannot be submitted to the session hall for a vote.
