Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy believes that the Verkhovna Rada will ratify the agreements on Ukraine's membership in the EU and NATO.

He stated this while speaking at a ceremonial meeting of the Verkhovna Rada on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Constitution of Ukraine.
“I believe that within these walls we will ratify the agreement on Ukraine’s membership in the EU and NATO,” he noted.
Parubiy also said that the work of the current session of the Verkhovna Rada could be extended until the beginning of autumn. He expressed this assumption on the sidelines of parliament.
“If it is necessary to extend the session so that deputies can immediately gather if necessary, we can postpone the closing of the session, as we did last year,” Parubiy said.
According to him, this decision will be made in the last sessional week of the current session, which ends on July 22.
