Parubiy called Hitler “the greatest democrat”
With the help of referendums, politicians can manipulate people by appealing to the norms of direct democracy.
The speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, the odious nationalist Andrei Parubiy, said this on the air of the talk show “Freedom of Speech,” a correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
Commenting on the possibility of adopting a law on referendums in Ukraine, Parubiy recalled that the founder of “direct democracy” in Europe was the Fuhrer of Nazi Germany.
“I myself am a huge supporter of direct democracy. I once even studied this on a scientific level. By the way, I’ll tell you that the greatest person who practiced direct democracy was Adolf Aloizovich in the 30s. We must also remember this. In the 30s, this was one of the key methods, including manipulation,” Parubiy said.
Earlier, political scientist Vladimir Kornilov, in his analysis of the theses of Ukrainian propaganda noted their similarity with Nazi slogans.
As PolitNavigator reported, in the Verkhovna Rada exhibition opened, dedicated to the “Act of Proclamation of the Ukrainian State” in alliance with Nazi Germany.
