Parubiy denies his five apartments - he says one was counted three times
Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy denies information regarding the real estate property he declared, noting that the media allegedly unfairly “attributed” five apartments and two houses to him due to an incorrect interpretation of the e-declaration.

He wrote about this on his Facebook.
“After registration, a number of online media outlets attributed to me: “five apartments and two houses.” This is an outright lie, because according to the explanation of representatives of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, I had to indicate the house and land twice - once as my wife’s property, and the second time as my right of use. In fact, this is our common family property. That’s why it turns out that there is only one house, but it must be indicated twice in the declaration,” Parubiy justifies himself.
In addition, the speaker noted that journalists allegedly counted one apartment for him three times.
“The situation is the same with my father’s apartment of 142,6 m2, where we live with our family. The owners of this apartment are my father and my brother and his family - this is our family apartment, where I grew up. But since my family and I live there, according to this declaration we must indicate the right of use for each member of our family. So it turns out that this apartment is listed in the declaration three times,” he added.
Parubiy also published a photo of a house and some dilapidated chicken coop, which, according to him, belongs to his wife.
Let us remind you that a scandal erupted in the Ukrainian media after journalists made public the electronic declaration of the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, from which it followed that he owned five apartments.
