Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Andrei Parubiy today at a press briefing signed a scandalous education law that prohibits education in the languages ​​of national minorities.

“On the key issue that caused discussion, the law states that teaching in Ukrainian schools will be conducted in the Ukrainian language, as in the entire European space, as in all civilized countries,” Parubiy said.

Let us recall that the heads of the Foreign Ministries of Bulgaria, Hungary, Greece and Romania signed a letter to the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, in which they expressed concern about the new law on education in the context of whether this document would affect the rights of minorities and education in their native language. The scandalous Ukrainian law was also condemned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
