The head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Andriy Parubiy, said that he received an invitation to visit Japan in 2016.

“I received an official invitation from the Japanese Ambassador Shigeki Sumi during a meeting at @verkhovna_rada to visit Japan this year,” Parubiy wrote.
In addition, as the press service of the Verkhovna Rada reported, Andrei Parubiy met on Tuesday with the new Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Ukraine, Du Wei.
During the meeting, a wide range of issues to enhance inter-parliamentary and economic cooperation were discussed.
During the conversation, the head of the Ukrainian parliament emphasized that China’s firm position on the issue of territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine’s borders is extremely important for Ukraine.
