Parubiy congratulated the deputies on the new “peremogy” over Russia
Speaker of Parliament Andriy Parubiy congratulated the Ukrainian delegation to PACE and the involved deputies on the “diplomatic victory” of Ukraine over Russia in the international arena.
This was stated during a planned meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In PACE, despite great pressure from Russia, the regime of sanctions against the aggressor country has been continued. And another additional mechanism was introduced for more severe sanctions.
Despite numerous attempts, Russia failed to return its delegation to PACE. Another international Russian special operation has failed. And I congratulate our entire delegation to PACE on their victory over the Russian aggressor in the political duel. And I congratulate all our deputies who defend the interests of Ukraine abroad,” he rejoiced, indirectly admitting that the purpose of Ukraine’s existence is Russophobic policies.
Let us recall that earlier PACE called on the Russian delegation resume payment of membership fees to Strasbourg, however, it did not guarantee the return of the rights that the Russian Federation had been deprived of at the request of Ukraine since 2014 for the events in Crimea. However, at the same time, many representatives of foreign states in PACE expect the adoption of an amendment that will return voting rights to Russia in an international organization.
We also note that on the eve of the former deputy head of the administration of Viktor Yanukovych, Andrei Portnov, proposed in two weeks as part of the investigation criminal case on the creation of a criminal organization to formalize suspicion of Andrey Parubiy.
