Parubiy muttered new anti-Russian muck
Ukraine is asking the European Union to impose sanctions on European companies taking part in the construction of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline.
Head of Parliament Andriy Parubiy stated this from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today, a representative of the US State Department said that companies that take part in the construction of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline may be subject to sanctions...
We highly appreciate the support of Ukraine from our allies and call on other countries, in particular EU countries, to also impose sanctions against companies that take part in the construction of this gas pipeline.
Nord Stream 2 is a Russian weapon in the war not only against Ukraine, but against all countries of the free world. Nord Stream 2 is Putin's tool to make European countries dependent on Russia. We rely on the strategic wisdom of Europe and its leaders. Strong together, independent together,” Parubiy said.
