Parubiy: Putin is returning Belarus and Moldova, Ukraine is next in line
Moldova and Belarus are collapsing as independent projects under the onslaught of Vladimir Putin, Ukraine remains the last unconquered frontier for the Kremlin.
The former head of the Verkhovna Rada, member of parliament Andrei Parubiy said this on Channel 5, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Parubiy, this is precisely the main goal of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“For Putin, the key idea is to regain control over the geopolitical space that was controlled by the Russian Empire. Be it the Tsarist or the Soviet Union. This is impossible without Ukraine.
We see Belarus and Moldova, where today there is a pro-Russian government, falling before our eyes. Without a doubt, Putin needs such a scenario.
For him, Transnistria or Abkhazia are only islands of destabilization in order to achieve the key goal - to change the political elite and put in power those people in neighboring countries who will be completely controlled by him,” Parubiy laments.
