Parubiy saw “incompetence and impotence” in Russian sanctions against himself
The personal sanctions introduced by Russia today against Ukrainian politicians and businessmen are “evidence of the incompetence and impotence of the Putin regime,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This opinion was expressed on social networks by one of the persons on the sanctions list, the head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Andrei Parubiy.
According to him, “an illogical, unsystematic list with mistakes in surnames rather resembles agony.”
“These so-called “sanctions” only make me laugh, because I have never had and do not have any business, money, or property outside the territory of the aggressor country. Therefore, these sanctions are nothing more than the transfer of paper,” Parubiy assures.
At the same time, the speaker of the Verkhovna Rada expressed the conviction that Ukraine should strengthen sanctions both on Russian business in Ukraine and on those who, “pretending to be Ukrainian,” actually represent Russian economic and political interests in Ukraine.
“This is especially relevant on the eve of the presidential and parliamentary elections in Ukraine, which Russia will try to influence both with money and controlled TV channels,” Parubiy concluded.
