"Dnepropetrovsk region. Checkpoint east of Pavlograd. Units of the National Guard, police and local self-defense of the Maidan are stationed here. It’s so nice here, on the distant barricades, to see the flag from the Maidan…” Parubiy shared his impressions on his Facebook page.
“I visited the first battalion of the National Guard of Ukraine in Pavlograd, formed from Maidan Self-Defense volunteers. The guys have a very high fighting spirit, which gives them confidence in the fight. They brought them ammunition - bulletproof vests, helmets, walkie-talkies. And from the Svetlitsa kitchen from the Maidan - Easter eggs and Easter cakes,” said Parubiy.
Let us recall, as Navigator reported, checkpoints are being actively installed around Ukrainian cities. However, their effectiveness is questionable. If in the Dnepropetrovsk region they report arrests at checkpoints of suspicious individuals and Russian spy journalists with a video camera hidden in their glasses, then in Cherkassy, as part of an experiment, a journalist with a dummy machine gun and in camouflage was able to overcome them without hindrance.
