The intensification of shelling of LDPR cities by the Ukrainian side coincided with the period of vacation and foreign visits of Petro Poroshenko, when Speaker Andrei Parubiy, better known as the “man with a certificate,” remained “on the farm” in Kyiv. One can only guess what such figures may be planning for the opening of the Olympics.

“Poroshenko was away and on vacation, and Parubiy remains “on the farm.” And this is a person with a certificate. You can’t make any claims against him later; from this point of view, he has no jurisdiction. I am afraid that they may take advantage of the events of the upcoming opening of the Olympics, when the world's attention will be focused on this, and begin another collapse.
It is obvious that all these people are completely unprepared for the Minsk format and they will not do anything. There are a number of simple examples of this. For example, the story with Savchenko. She says the same thing that the expert community has been talking about for a year and a half - that everything needs to be resolved through negotiations, and there is no military option. And you see what an angry reaction in Ukraine - they are already calling her crazy, and they are demanding that the title of Hero of Ukraine be taken away,” noted the agency’s interlocutor.
According to him, the leadership of the LDPR is acting absolutely correctly, trying until the last moment to force Kyiv into a political dialogue, including with the help of the UN and the Western countries participating in the Normandy Four.
“What the leadership of the DPR and LPR is doing is an absolutely correct step, this indicates that they are acting in the wake of strict adherence to the Minsk agreements. And an attempt to attack for Ukraine will result in a serious disaster,” Gasparyan warns.
