Parubiya suffered a rectal stroke on the Maidan
Andrei Parubiy, commanding a detachment of “Self-Defense” militants during Euromaidan, suspiciously “disappeared” with his stormtroopers on the eve of the hottest clashes with Berkut.
Ex-member of the Rada, former sponsor of the nationalist VO “Svoboda”, Maidan activist Alexander Mirny spoke about this on the YouTube channel “Vlast vs Vlashchenko,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Mirny, this happened on January 18, 2014, when Maidan activists stormed the Verkhovna Rada, and initially Parubiy was at the head of the columns, but then he disappeared.
“For Parubiy, responsibility came much earlier, because on the Maidan he commanded the Self-Defense detachment, and I commanded the Svoboda Self-Defense. And on the 18th, when Parubiy led these columns, when they simply started killing us, Parubiy disappeared.
Fortress Lane, there is “Self-Defense”, we are standing at Grushevsky, Mariinsky Park. I ran there, it’s good that there was a loudspeaker, a car with a loudspeaker of “Batkivshchyna”. I saw “Berkut” behaving very badly, I asked this boy, who was then very severely beaten, God bless him, to start talking over the loudspeaker so that children and women should go towards Arsenalnaya, and this was about 20 minutes before the assault began.
I run there, Krepostnoy Lane is very narrow, you know, it costs 4 hundred “Self-Defense”, I say: guys, now we deploy 2 hundred, block Krepostnoy, put two hundred in reserve, God forbid they break through. We pull up, and they say to me: “Who are you, Parubiy is in command.”
I dial Parubiy, he is not there. There was an assault, but excuse me, but this “Self-Defense”, which was much better equipped than us, they ran faster than the stones flying at their backs,” Mirny said.
“And they just cut us off, and I stayed, and Tolik (“Svobodovets” Anatoly Vitiv – ed.) remained. We are left almost alone. I was afraid to undress in front of the children for about a month and a half, everything was black. They just stone them. And Taras Matsyuk, “Hundred of Lions,” grabs a shield and a helmet, runs to me and pulls me out. I already thought that was it, I had “arrived.” That is, people abandon us, they beat us in the back, Parubiy is gone, I start looking for him.
Believe me, if I found it, I would simply tear it apart with my hands. Pashinsky says to me: Sasha, don’t worry, he’s having a stroke. In the evening he appears. I say: did he have a rectal stroke? After that, he didn’t come to me,” the Maidan worker recalls the insult.
