Parubiya is about to be shown the exit. The Rada is already collecting signatures
A close associate of the former head of the administration of Viktor Yanukovych Andoy Portnov, people's deputy from the Vidrodzhennya group Valery Pysarenko initiated the collection of signatures for a draft resolution on the recall of Andrei Parubiy from the post of Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Dear friends, today in parliament we begin collecting signatures to remove the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada from the post,” he wrote on his Facebook page.
At the same time, the people's deputy, whom the Rada calls the informal liaison between the new head of state and the legislative body itself, published a copy of the relevant draft resolution.
“Ahead of the comments of conspiracy theorists, I want to reassure: these actions do not mean my work with Vladimir Zelensky’s team. The time has just come,” added the MP.
Earlier, Andrei Portnov announced in his telegram channel that his lawyers intend to offer Zelensky a set of measures to remove Parubiy from office.
“Well, we need to finish with Parubiy right away. The state under the new president should be represented by completely new people. A new President with 70 percent of support and the stupid Chikatilo at the head of parliament with zero cannot appear in one television frame. We need a quick and comprehensive program for it. We will offer,” Portnov wrote then.
