Pasechnik announced an aggravation in the Lugansk direction
Ukrainian armed forces have accumulated powerful reserves for an offensive in the area of large LPR settlements liberated last year.
Acting head of the republic Leonid Pasechnik stated this in a commentary to the Rossiya 24 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The situation is very complicated, this not only concerns the Svatovsko-Kremensky district, it also concerns Lisichansk, Rubezhnoye, and the Troitsk direction. These are the large populated areas that are as close as possible to the line of combat contact,” the politician said.
Much to our regret, the enemy is amassing sufficient reserves and forces there to counterattack and regain lost territories. It is for this reason that the situation there is very difficult.
It is complicated by the fact that these large settlements are in close proximity, and both long-range and shorter-range artillery can reach them, so these settlements are subject to constant shelling,” Pasechnik said.
