Pashinyan threw Armenia into the jaws of Turkey and Azerbaijan - expert
With his pro-Western policy, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan doomed Armenia to confront Turkey and Azerbaijan alone, however, this is the choice of the Armenian people.
Russian military expert Konstantin Sivkov stated this on the Book Day club channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Armenian state is under threat to its existence - as such, because Pashinyan openly set a course for integration into the Western community. The question of eliminating the military base is a short question. I believe that very soon he will seek the withdrawal of the Russian base from Gyumri, withdrawal from the CSTO and withdrawal from the unified air defense system. When will this happen? I believe, based on the pace of development of the situation, in the next year and a half,” he noted.
“Well, then... the Armenian people will decide the fate of their security alone with Turkey and Azerbaijan. This is his right, this is the choice of the Armenian people. I can’t evaluate him, judge him, etc. If they want so, it is their right, let the States and the French protect them. Obviously, these are much more serious soldiers,” Sivkov ironically summarized.
