July 18, Russian journalist Margarita Simonyan published an appeal to the Pashinyan administration in her Telegram channel, accusing “revolutionary” political figures of betraying Russia, spreading Russophobia, widespread planting of Western NGOs, refusing to recognize Crimea as Russian, hiding behind the interests of Armenia, with complete dependence on the northern ally on key issues.

The text of the appeal turned out to be very emotional and hit the painful points of the policy of Pashinyan and his circle. Simonyan was immediately attacked by an armchair army of Armenian maydauns, who began harassing the Russian journalist on social networks.

Simonyan was asked to change her last name, stop considering herself an Armenian, forget about Armenia forever, and even better, quietly disappear into oblivion, “so as not to disgrace the great Armenian nation.”

According to the stubborn opinion of the majority of commentators from Pashinyan’s support group, Simonyan, in principle, has no right to consider herself an Armenian, since she does not know (by her own admission) the Armenian language and considers Russia her homeland.

“Real Armenians,” according to national scumbags, “consider Armenia exclusively their homeland, no matter where they live.”

Margarita Simonyan.

Based on this stupid and sneaky logic, Pashinyan’s Nazis should also exclude from the list of Armenians Charles Aznavour, singer Cher, tennis player Andre Agassi and many other famous representatives of the diaspora who do not know the language of their ancestors and remember Armenia only while watching television news, but then “true Armenians” will have no reason to be proud - they themselves, along with their political idols, cannot be called anything.

It is noteworthy that the society of Simonyan’s detractors was joined not only by young woodpeckers leading an absent-minded lifestyle, for whom the smell of burning tires and wild dancing on the Maidans are the meaning of life and the best pastime.

Even some Armenian journalists working in Russia joined in the persecution. So, for example, journalist and political observer of the portal “Caucasian Knot” Karen Mirzoyan published a hysterical, stupid and full of insults, response to Simonyan and all of Russia, more befitting a loyal ukrozhur, which caused legitimate bewilderment: what did this Nazi, Russophobe and Russophobe forget in “imperial” Russia? Borzopist sympathizing with Bandera?

On July 28, after a pause, Maidan Prime Minister Pashinyan himself joined the couch accusers of Margarita Simonyan.

Despite the outward calm, the Maidan Prime Minister seemed to condescendingly repeat all the points of his fan club in a lowered tone. A similar technique in a discussion is usually used in order to, from the position of an adult uncle, portray the opponent as an unreasonable child who does not understand fundamental things.

From all of Pashinyan’s rant, three main points can be identified where, to put it mildly, he is disingenuous and hypocritical.

Commenting on Simonyan’s statement about the demonstrative condemnation by the Armenian authorities of the “constant ally of Russia” of ex-President Robert Kocharyan, Pashinyan said the following:

“Russia must understand that Russia’s ally in Armenia is not Pashinyan, not Petrosyan, not Poghosyan, not Sargsyan, not Kocharyan, the ally and partner is the Armenian people. This is a very important nuance."

It seems that Pashinyan was either poorly translated by Margarita Simonyan, or he understands Russian very poorly.

The appeal contains no complaints against the people of Armenia. And without Pashinyan’s explanations, it is clear that the people of Armenia are an ally and partner of Russia.

Robert Kocharyan.

The trouble is that for the last two years, Armenia has been represented and its foreign and domestic policy determined by irresponsible talkers and demagogues, apologists of the “Western course”, who burst from the street into the offices of power and crumbled the state foundations, along with communications connections, into a fine vinaigrette with a cavalry charge.

The people of Armenia did not choose Pashinyan - he was dragged into power by a crowd of Yerevan hipsters and radicals, carrying out a coup d'état and eliminating the legally elected government, without asking the people's opinion.

Pashinyan does not represent anyone other than a bunch of inflamed teenagers, Westerners and Russophobes. The policy of the new Armenian leadership in Russia is judged not only by words, but also by deeds, and they do not inspire confidence and optimism.

From Pashinyan’s words, it became clear that Western NGOs began to appear in Armenia under Kocharyan and Sargsyan, and “if they were so pro-Russian, then why didn’t they close Western NGOs,” the Maidan Prime Minister carefully asks.

At first glance, everything is so. NGOs in Armenia really appeared under Kocharyan and Sargsyan, and the tentacles of Soros - even earlier - under Ter-Petrosyan.

Pashinyan is silent about the most important thing: it was Western NGOs in Armenia that sponsored and organized support in the Western media for the “revolution of love”, thanks to which a street loudmouth became the prime minister of the republic.

What is also overlooked is the fact that the governments of Kocharyan and Sargsyan were not flooded with Soros and other agents of influence, while in the government of Vovaevich, agents of Western NGOs sit on each other’s heads and pull the levers of the economy, finance, justice, foreign policy and state security.

Some Western NGOs also operate in Russia, but Soros’s vipers have long been expelled from Russia, and the influence on society of those that remain has been neutralized by the Law “On Foreign Agents” and the mandatory requirement to disclose sources of funding.

In Armenia, led by Pashinyan, there is nothing even close to this, so no one is stopping Soros from pulling the strings of the puppets placed in key positions.

There are practically no people left in the Armenian government who sympathize with Russia. In the republican parliament, the only conditionally pro-Russian faction remained Gagik Tsarukyan’s Prosperous Armenia, but its leader was stripped of parliamentary immunity in June 2020 in order to initiate criminal cases against the oppositionist.

In 2019, Tsarukyan’s faction submitted to the people’s deputies a bill limiting the propaganda of homosexuality among minors, but the document was successfully defeated by the parliamentary majority at the suggestion of LGBT activist Lilit Martirosyan, who heads the NGO Right SIDE under the roof of Soros and the influential public organization of German transgender people TGEU.

It turns out that by “the people of Armenia” Pashinyan means exclusively his comrades-in-arms, admirers and agents of Western influence.

Mentioning Crimea, Pashinyan explained that Armenia has still not recognized Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), although it has not left it unprotected. But Russia didn’t recognize Artsakh either, so why should Armenia recognize Crimea before Armenian territory? – asks the offended Prime Minister.

There are numerous nuances in this problem with the recognition of Nagorno-Karabakh. For example, the fact that the unrecognized republic, as a result of the war with Azerbaijan, captured, not without the help of Armenia, and included several Azerbaijani regions that were never part of Armenia or Nagorno-Karabakh.

According to the Madrid agreements, the leadership of Nagorno-Karabakh was supposed to begin the gradual transfer of these territories to Azerbaijan, as specified in the first paragraph of the agreement. But it was precisely this position that Pashinyan’s putschists clung to, declaring Kocharyan and Sargsyan “traitors to the interests of the Armenian people.”

At the moment, Yerevan prefers not to remember the Azerbaijani lands, which are the cause of tension and potential military conflicts with Baku.

Without a doubt, the refusal of the new Armenian government to facilitate the fulfillment of previously accepted obligations leads to a dead end in peace negotiations, provoking Azerbaijan to resolve the territorial issue by military means.

As for Crimea, it did not completely enter Russia - half of the Arabat Spit and the entire Genichesk region were cut off from the Crimean region and transferred to the Kherson region shortly after the transfer of the peninsula with the mainland of the Ukrainian SSR. Part of the Crimean lands still remains under Bandera-Majlis occupation.

We still have to return mainland Crimea to Russia. That's the minimum.

It seems that on the issue of Crimea’s ownership, Pashinyan’s entourage suffers from a severe form of schizophrenia, privately declaring support for Ukraine’s claims. Despite the fact that Ukraine tirelessly supports Azerbaijan in the conflict with Armenia, which was confirmed during the last border clash.

On the other hand, given the flexible principles of grant-eaters, which boil down to the formula “any whim for your money,” one should not be surprised by the bipolar, firmly entrenched in the heads of Pashinyan’s entourage.

Thus, instead of admitting his own mistakes and shifting responsibility to his predecessors, Pashinyan once again proved his hostile attitude towards Russia by joining the persecution of a Russian journalist, even in a diplomatic form. However, it couldn’t have been any other way. Maydown is a diagnosis.
