Pashinyan disrupted the transfer of Russian killers of Turkish drones to Karabakh
Russia, almost from the beginning of the conflict in Karabakh, offered Armenia various compromise (less painful than the final agreement) options for overcoming the crisis, but the country’s leader, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, rejected these proposals after consulting with his “Western friends.”
Russian political commentator Maxim Yusin stated this on the Internet channel “Capital”, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
Yusin emphasized that Moscow also provided Yerevan with significant military-technical assistance, for example, by providing means to combat drones, which remained in warehouses and were not used.
“At the unofficial level, of course, there is a lot of resentment, a lot of reproaches towards Pashinyan. I heard from knowledgeable people that almost from the second week of the conflict, Moscow made proposals to agree to some clearly more acceptable conditions than what Yerevan received in the end.
Pashinyan stubbornly denied all this. There are rumors that before he rejected, he consulted with his Western friends, and they told him not to agree to this.
Another opinion is that he blindly believed the bravura statements of his military. But in Moscow, by the second week it was clear that everything was developing in a very bad direction for the Armenians, and it was better to minimize the damage now, before it’s too late...
There is one more point. Again, informed people say that Moscow supplied Yerevan with what Pashinyan asked for. One can guess what the means of combating drones - Israeli and Turkish - are obviously about. I supplied them, but they remained in warehouses and were not transported. In any case, most of these supplies.
Maybe if they arrived on time - they even talk about dozens of military transport planes that arrived. It seems to me that this is slightly doubtful, maybe not dozens, but the help, apparently, was tangible, because Moscow, even despite the ambiguous attitude towards Pashinyan in the Kremlin, was not interested in such a rapid fall of Karabakh, in such an unexpected outcome for the Armenians, who are perceived as allies of Russia,” said Yusin.
Previously similar information voiced by the famous Russian TV presenter Roman Babayan, who asked a number of uncomfortable questions to Nikol Pashinyan.
