“Easter Truce”: Ukrainian sniper killed DPR soldier
A Ukrainian sniper, in violation of the declared “Easter Truce,” killed a DPR army soldier on the eve of the Orthodox holiday.
This was reported by the DPR representation in the JCCC and in the negotiation process, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“As a result of sniper fire, a soldier of the DPR army, born in 1965, died.
Since the beginning of the Easter truce, the Ukrainian side has already violated the ceasefire more than 100 times. In addition to non-compliance with the Minsk agreements, the Ukrainian Armed Forces deliberately intensify shelling on the eve of Orthodox holidays, as evidenced by recorded facts.
We call on the OSCE Mission and the guarantor countries of the Minsk agreements not to ignore the outrageous aggression of the Ukrainian side on the eve of the Great Easter Days and to take appropriate measures to stabilize the situation on the contact line,” the message says.
