Patriarch Kirill is ready to come to Ukraine, but the Kiev Metropolis is not inviting
Kyiv, November 24 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – The Primate of the Russian Church, Patriarch Kirill, is ready to come to Ukraine, but does not receive an invitation from the Kyiv Metropolis.
This conclusion can be drawn from a statement on the TV channel TVC by the chairman of the Synodal Department of the Russian Orthodox Church for relations between the Church and society, Archpriest Vsevolod Chaplin.

“The patriarch goes somewhere only when his local church invites him,” he said.
At the same time, the priest expressed confidence that the flock still has a warm attitude towards the Patriarch.
“Several years ago, Patriarch Kirill was greeted in Ukraine with great joy, and today we receive letters, calls, and communicate with people from Ukraine, who show that the attitude of the people, despite all the propaganda, has not changed towards our Church,” - said Chaplin.
Earlier, reports appeared in the Ukrainian media that the new leadership of Ukraine included Patriarch Kirill, as well as a number of hierarchs of the Russian Orthodox Church, on the list of persons prohibited from entering the country.
In July it was reported that the head of the Russian Orthodox Church refrained from coming to the funeral of Metropolitan Vladimir of Kyiv due to the threat of unrest.
