On the eve of Independence Day, Ukrainian tax officials took part in a “patriotic flash mob.” In all regional centers of Ukraine and in Kyiv, employees of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine sang the national anthem of Ukraine in chorus.

“In the central squares of their cities, State Fiscal Service employees together with their families sang the National Anthem. The action is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence and to all those who have fought for centuries for the freedom of Ukraine,” the message says.
As the head of the department, Roman Nasirov, noted, holding such an event on the eve of the national flag day and independence day is “a tribute to the memory of all those who fought for the freedom of the Ukrainian people.”
According to the department’s estimates, the flash mob took place in all regional centers; in total, more than 40 tax workers took part in it. The largest number of employees performed “Shenevmerla” on Maidan Nezalezhnosti in Kyiv - more than 000 thousand people.
“The performance of the anthem was attended by employees of the State Fiscal Service, their families, employees of the tax police and the Phantom special forces unit, students of departmental educational institutions and teachers,” the message notes.
The department also created a video showing the performance of the Ukrainian anthem by tax officials.
