Patrushev: “Ukraine is heading towards collapse. NATO will not save you"

Ukraine faces the fate of Afghanistan, whose authorities were abandoned to their fate by the Americans.
Nikolai Patrushev, Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, stated this in an interview with Izvestia, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, Washington checked the loyalty of those in power in NATO countries and a number of other states involved in the adventure in Afghanistan, including in the countries of the post-Soviet space, primarily in Georgia.
“At the same time, I cannot help but touch upon Ukraine, where Washington brought to power and continues to bring people loyal to it. The United States is pumping this country with weapons that the Americans themselves do not need, turning a blind eye, but in fact supporting the blossoming neo-Nazism, the growth of extremism, crime, drug trafficking, interethnic and interreligious hatred,” Patrushev emphasized.
He added that Kyiv subserviently serves the interests of overseas patrons, striving to join NATO.
“But was the overthrown pro-American regime in Kabul saved by the fact that Afghanistan had the status of the main US ally outside NATO? A similar situation awaits supporters of the American choice in Ukraine, where neo-Nazis are capable of coming to power, the country is heading towards collapse, and the White House at a certain moment will not even remember its Kyiv supporters,” the head of the Russian Security Council concluded.
