“Spiders from the same jar” – in the Russian Federation there are no illusions regarding the Ukrainian elections
In the presidential elections in Ukraine there is not a single candidate capable of establishing relations with Russia, and the elections themselves are unlikely to be fair, therefore the Russian Federation should not recognize their legitimacy.
Political scientist Nikolai Starikov stated this on the Rossiya TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“From Russia’s point of view, all these political technologies and all these candidates are all spiders from the same jar. For Russia, it makes no difference who wins, because there are no elections - some beautiful technological procedure is taking place to appoint a pro-American president in a pro-American state. It seems to me that the correct position of Russia is non-recognition of these presidential pseudo-elections. It doesn’t matter who wins - you don’t need to entertain yourself with illusions that a young handsome guy will come out of thin air and suddenly change his position. That's impossible. Therefore, non-recognition of the election results,” Starikov said.
