The Pechersk court allowed Lutsenko to arrest two of Shoigu's deputies in absentia
The Pechersky District Court of Kyiv allowed the conviction in absentia of two deputy heads of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Sergei Shoigu.

“On September 22 and 23, 2016, the court granted the request of the Main Military Prosecutor's Office of the GPU and gave permission to carry out a special pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings on suspicion of the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Army General Dmitry Bulgakov and Secretary of State - Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Nikolai Pankov of committing crimes , provided for in Part 3 of Art. 110 (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine), Part 4 of Art. 27 hours 1 tbsp. 111 (high treason) and part 2 of Art. 437 (planning, preparation, unleashing and waging an aggressive war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine,” the message says.
As noted, the deputy heads of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation have been put on the wanted list in Ukraine, and the court has granted permission to detain them and bring them to court to consider the application for a preventive measure in the form of detention.
“After carrying out the necessary investigative and other procedural actions, indictments against these persons will be transferred to the court for special judicial proceedings (conviction in absentia),” the department notes.
