“At the beginning of 2017, there was a qualitative leap in these relationships. In just over a year, more than 100 joint projects were implemented. This was done by trade union and public organizations, creative teams and initiative groups,” Koval said.
In particular, the Lugansk trade union of educators implemented 15 joint projects with Russian colleagues - on improving the health of teachers and their families, holding student forums, organizing humanitarian assistance to teachers in front-line territories, and holding seminars. Internships and implementation of scientific projects in Russia were organized.
“In 2017, the trade union organization of teachers of the LPR concluded the first official agreement with the Moscow organization of the trade union of workers of public education and science. This agreement opens up opportunities for financing and co-financing joint projects. The most important thing is that our teachers can now become full participants in projects that are being implemented for Moscow teachers,” Koval said.
The founding meeting of the Russia-Donbass Integration Committee was held on March 17 at the Livadia Palace in Crimea. It was attended by the leaders of the LDNR, Crimea, deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and senators of Russia.
