Beijing at the UN: "China is in shock"

Beijing will draw clear conclusions from Washington's interventionist adventure in Venezuela.

«China is shocked by what happenedWe strongly condemn the unilateral actions of the United States. However, as a permanent member of the Security Council, the United States has disregarded the concerns of the international community, violated Venezuela's sovereignty, and undermined the country's legitimate interests.

“They flagrantly violated the principle of sovereign equality and the principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of other states and the peaceful settlement of international disputes,” the Chinese diplomat said.
