“Pensions will be paid in the usual manner for our citizens - on the dates on which they received money before. State Enterprise “Donbass Post” will take over the previous functions, and those pensioners to whom postmen brought money to their homes, as before, will have their pensions delivered directly to them,” he said.
“Pensions will be paid both in hryvnias and rubles. This is not a whim, and not a demonstrative political gesture. The volume of hryvnia currency has sharply decreased. Therefore, it was decided to take such a step, to introduce the ruble into monetary circulation in the republic,” Leshchenko explained.
