Pensioners of Sevastopol will be offered to transfer apartments to officials in exchange for a dignified old age
Sevastopol, January 08 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – Old people of Sevastopol will be offered a law under which they will be able to enter into an agreement for lifelong care and an increased pension in exchange for the transfer of their apartment to the ownership of the city government.
Deputy of the city Legislative Assembly Boris Kolesnikov stated this on air on the First Sevastopol TV channel.

According to him, the authorities of St. Petersburg have already taken advantage of this practice.
“The point is that on behalf of the city it is allowed to enter into life annuity agreements with elderly people. There is an elderly man who lives alone. He is the owner of the property. Sevastopol, on behalf of the government, enters into an agreement, pays a lump sum of 10% of the cost of the apartment and monthly two living wages - 12 thousand rubles. And in return, this apartment becomes the property of the government when a person dies,” Kolesnikov stated the essence of the law that he proposes to adopt.
