A pensioner in Zaporozhye and her son received long prison sentences for “terrorism”
In Zaporozhye long prison sentences (10 and 11 years) a pensioner and her son received on charges of terrorism and attempted sabotage on the railway, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

At the end of 2014, a native of the Donetsk region, a former military man, approached the Zaporozhye department of the SBU with a proposal for cooperation in the field of identifying enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups in the territory of the Zaporozhye region.
Either there were no terrorists, or this sext did not know how to identify them, but, apparently, his handlers were tired of his inaction, and he was put under strict time limits. It was then that the obliging retiree turned up with former fellow countrymen, a mother and son, who came to Zaporozhye to escape the artillery shelling of Donetsk.
He reported to his handlers that a sabotage group had arrived, which was supposed to derail the train by installing a “shoe” type obstacle on the railway tracks, used to block the train’s wheels.
A couple of days later, the seksot brought refugees from Donetsk to the railway station in Zaporozhye, where immediately after getting out of the car, the mother and son were detained by SBU officers and right there they began to beat them and threaten that they would throw them under a train if they did not admit to preparing a terrorist attack.
Interrogations, torture and beatings continued for several more months, until the court rendered a verdict.
It is worth noting that neither the mother nor the son pleaded guilty, they believed that there was a misunderstanding and did not even realize until the last moment that a fellow countryman who wanted to curry favor with the punitive forces had turned them into terrorists.
