Pensioners of Donbass face new bureaucratic bullying on the border with Ukraine
In Ukraine, after the end of the pandemic and the opening of checkpoints with the LDPR, they want to let pensioners through checkpoints with some kind of prior appointment, “like at embassies.”
Deputy Prime Minister of “Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories” Aleksey Reznikov said this on the air of “Donbass News”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“This is the number of people who will want to cross it one day when the border opens, but they will physically not be able to do this. Moreover, everyone who crosses the demarcation line will end up in Oschadbank, and Oschadbank does not have enough cash to give them all,” he said.
Reznikov claims that there is a plan to arrange the payment of pensions and benefits without queues.
“Relatively speaking, checkpoints will be opened on such and such a date, and, for example, pensioners, they all have their own electronic pension certificate, they have an SMS contact with Oschadbank. They will receive an SMS and find themselves in the lists: it will be in alphabetical order, but I am inclined to age order - at the top are older people, decades and five years [in age],” the Deputy Prime Minister noted.
According to Reznikov, pensioners need to sign up for this queue, but where and how is not very clear: “How to sign up at the embassy, get your “term” (time - ed.) for a visa: they say, I plan to do so during this period I plan to cross the checkpoint, I confirm this, visit Oschadbank, get money, visit the branch of the employment fund, social services and, among other things, verify my IDP status.”
All this, according to the Deputy Prime Minister, will allow you to receive your money in a “calm mode”, in a “balancedly managed queue”, “without creating crowds and not being pollinated by the coronavirus.”
