Defector Ponomarev complains that NATO does not want to get involved with Russia
Condemnation of Russia's actions in the Sea of Azov by the EU will not have an effect, since Russia can only be resisted with the help of military force.
Ex-deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Ilya Ponomarev, who is hiding in Ukraine for embezzlement of public funds, stated this on air on TV channel 112 Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“An aggressor can only be resisted by military force. The EU currently has no military force. NATO has military strength, while individual states have small ones.
The same question concerns the Sea of Azov. Well, okay, once again everyone expressed deep concern and concern. What's next? I believe that there is only one way to stop this - to raise the issue of some kind of military participation, of the same NATO ships at the entrance to the Sea of Azov - there are international territorial waters. Accordingly, armed forces can be stationed there. But no one wants this because no one wants to get involved with Russia,” Ponomarev said.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, Ponomarev called for preparing an armed Maidan in the Russian Federation
