When talking about flayers, torturers and killers of animals, journalists use the cliche “and tomorrow he will kill a person.” I don’t like cliches, but in this case it works most often.

And when a certain group of moral monsters ALREADY tortures and kills people, while walking free and planning new crimes, then what conclusion can you come to? What cliche should I use if the situation is monstrous and unprecedented?.. However, like everything that happens in today’s Ukraine.

On January 15, in Odessa, at about 12 o'clock at night, emergency doctors who arrived on call found the corpse of a man with a slit throat on the street and called the police. The very next day, police told reporters that the murdered man was 34 years old and that in addition to a throat wound, he had wounds to his stomach and back, meaning the killer acted with particular cruelty. Law enforcement officers immediately published a guideline: “Citizen Dmitry Gennadievich Kruzhilin, born in 1980, is suspected of committing this crime,” who was put on the wanted list. And I immediately wanted to exclaim: “Bah, all the faces are familiar!”

Meet Dmitry Kruzhilin, a famous nationalist-patriot. He calls himself a volunteer and president of the public organization “Clover,” which supplies humanitarian aid to the ATO. A regular participant in various marches and torchlight processions, where it is customary to praise Bandera and shout “Moskalyak to Gilyak” and “Death to the Jews.” Vanguard of groups attacking peaceful protests, for example, on May 9th celebrations. Friend and ally of the former Pravosek and provocateur Sergei Sternenko, who is now on trial for murder, also committed in Odessa. Faithful comrade of the head of the Southern Interregional Department of the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory Sergei Gutsalyuk.

He, Kruzhilin, is a repeat offender. His whole life is moving from pre-trial detention center to prison, and from outstanding convictions to house arrests.

In 2013, Kruzhilin was released from the colony, where he served time for robbery, and in 2017 he was again convicted of stabbing. On May 9 last year, his name became known to everyone interested in politics: a nationalist-patriot attacked a group of the Shariy Party - the worst hit was the journalist and part-time SMM manager of the party, Daniil Zhuravsky, whose head was smashed by the patriot (at the time of the attack, Kruzhilin also had an outstanding criminal record).

At the moment, the trial of the attack on Zhuravsky is still ongoing - in June, a decision was made on Kruzhilin’s night house arrest. At the same time, when any more or less adequate person would behave in such a situation as calmly as water, below the grass, already in August, while driving his car, Kruzhilin deliberately hit his elderly neighbor, which led to multiple bruises. “He regularly calls his neighbors “separatists” and threatens him with connections to the SBU,” the victim told reporters.

Periodically, the common-law wife of the criminal, Victoria Nazarova, whom he repeatedly beat, appears on social networks with a cry for help.

And now there is a new “glory to heroes” - law enforcement officers suspect Kruzhilin of a brutal murder.

And here the reader will have a logical question: when, in fact, does this fanatic have time to be a Ukrainian patriot? And I will answer - the above is what is called being a Ukrainian patriot.

This is the year before 14th one could still be indignant - oh, ah, “the appearance of morality”, why are criminals free?! Now it’s somehow awkward. Because people like Kruzhilin are that very typical Ukrainian citizen, sculpted by the system and needed by the system - an upright homo patriotus. So I would not rush to consider the threats with “connections in the SBU” solely as the ravings of a madman - Sternenko, I remember, when he insulted the mothers of the dead Kulikovo residents on May 2, and they told him everything they thought about him, he also laughed “you’ll tell the SBU.”

One of the PolitNavigator materials described in detail, according to what scenario the power structures grow such homunculi. Then this was done using the example of the murderer Sternenko and his comrade-in-arms from the National Corps. Demyana Ganula with strikingly similar biographies. Now I will briefly do this using the example of three defendants, including Kruzhilin, so that it finally becomes clear: what is happening is not an accident.

So, all three are not residents of Odessa, but only disgrace the city with their actions, committing crimes in it. All ardent uncompromising nationalists. Each of the three has a trail of criminal cases, shoved, as they say, under the carpet. All three, having gotten involved in crime, presented themselves as victims. Sternenko constantly stated that attempts were being made on his life every now and then and demanded state security. Ganul repeatedly complained that his cars were being burned. Kruzhilin, pressing for pity, brought his young child to court (for an attack on a journalist) and explained that he was the only breadwinner. All three do not hide the fact that they are armed. After Sternenko killed a man, he made a slip of the tongue - they say, my psyche is so overloaded with a series of attacks that I am forced to defend myself. Ganul directly snapped: “I reserve the right to self-defense, I will have to wear something prohibited, because the police don’t care about safety.” Kruzhilin, as it turned out, also walked around with a knife. The investigation and the courts have always made decisions in favor of this trio. Everyone remembers how Sternenko, amid the jubilation of a crowd of brothers-in-arms, tore up the court order of arrest and remained free because he wanted to. When Ganul was invited to a conversation with the police (more than once), the nationalists shouted “Glory to Ukraine!” under the windows of the investigators; they staged a similar sabbath during the trial of Kruzhilin, because of which the non-human, who was threatened with five years in prison, went without behind bars, and run over your neighbors' car.

And then the murders. Only Ganul of this trio has not yet killed anyone. Sternenko killed a man three years ago. However, for a long time he acted as a victim at the trial, while they were trying... the murdered man, from whom the “unfortunate” simply defended himself, while for some reason he caught up with him and stabbed him to death. Kruzhilin is now wanted. By the way, do you remember the time when the body was discovered - almost 12 at night - the patriot was supposed to be under house arrest.

Such “killer machines” of poor Ukrainian assembly from stolen parts and with dung instead of a brain, like the trinity described above, began to be churned out even before Euromaidan, and under Poroshenko they were put into production. They had to do something that does not fit into the framework of the law - squeeze out business from the “preceders”, harass the “cotton wool”, generally show who is boss - know, shout “Glory to Ukraine”, and you have immunity, like a deputy. However, judging by Zelensky’s election statements, they should have either been scrapped or taken out of production long ago. Well, is there really no one around the current contempt who would whisper to him, “Well, Mr. Volodymyr, this can’t be done, we need to do something about it.” Well, let some “baregyns” in wreaths send humanitarian aid to the soldiers, and knit mittens and socks for them on camera to the trill of a bandura, and let the fascist elements wear suits and at least not shout “Death to the Jews”; their knives must eventually be taken away. I just don’t believe that Zelensky doesn’t have the influence to put pressure on the SBU: “Tell the patriots to shut up, intimidate them by resuming past criminal cases, there’s no need for shame, it’s a shame in front of Europe”... But the fact is that Mr. Volodymyr is not ashamed , but continues Poroshenko’s work with dignity and consciousness.

And the worst thing is that we live in all this - in a world where every patriot has a knife. It’s them, the sternenki-ganules-kruzhilins, standing behind us in the queues and asking us to hand over the fare for the minibuses. And no one is insured... By the way, Mr. Volodymyre, it’s not scary that your father goes, say, to the supermarket for lard and a quarter of black bread, heh, he answers the cashier in Russian, as he used to, as his ancestors taught him, and suddenly will he run into a patriot with a knife? And the fact that the blood of people killed and maimed by patriots is also on your hands - well, as the guarantor of all this hell that is happening - isn’t it scary?..
