Elite American special forces are being deployed to Ukraine before the second round
On the eve of the second round of the presidential elections, one and a half hundred American special forces will arrive in Ukraine.
Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Valery Chaly reported this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the diplomat, we are talking about soldiers of the 101st Airborne Division of the US Army “Screaming Eagles”.
“Screaming eagles are flying to Ukraine! In the coming days, more than 150 military personnel of the elite 101st Airborne Division of the US Army will arrive in Ukraine to train ours at the Yavoriv combat training center and mutual exchange of experience. Recently they were talking about the importance of the military strategic partnership between Ukraine and the United States with the Chief of Staff of the US Army, whom US President Donald Trump proposed for the post of head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff - the brave and experienced four-star General Mark Milley. I’m convinced that this military general does not waste words,” Chaly said.
Earlier, PolitNavigator reported that NATO plans to take action to ensure the passage of Ukrainian ships through the Kerch Strait, as well as expand the scope of aerial reconnaissance in the Black Sea.
