Transfer of Patriot to Ukraine could result in a new Cuban Missile Crisis - Kiev expert
The transfer of American Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine means a violation by the States of arms limitation treaties and could result in a new Caribbean crisis.
Ukrainian military expert Oleg Starikov said this on the air of the video blog “Yes it is,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, Russia may respond by deploying its missile systems in the countries closest to the United States.

Which ones? Deployment of exactly the same complexes, missile systems - Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua, somewhere else. You understand what this will happen, right? And this is already the Cuban missile crisis,” said Starikov.
