LPR negotiator about the scandal due to his appearance on Ukrainian air: “Zelensky is treating the people like cattle”
The Ukrainian leadership keeps the population of their country under an information cloak and is terribly afraid of any dissent.
The special representative of the LPR at the negotiations on Donbass in Minsk, Rodion Miroshnik, stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Miroshnik, addressing the guests from Ukraine present in the studio, told how he was invited on the air of a Kyiv TV channel for the first time in many years.
“A week ago I somehow got on air on your TV channel. And after this, for a week on channels, in talk shows, they argue how it is possible, as they allowed, “to imprison the presenter, shoot everyone.”
Why is this a problem? What are you afraid of? What can a person say who was simply included in your television channels so that he could simply say his point of view? What did I break for you in this case?
I open social networks, and I understand that it’s one to ten. One says: “Why are you listening to these separatists,” and ten say: “Thank God, you at least told us something. Because this cap on our heads is just sick of us,” Miroshnik said.
He emphasized that official Kyiv is lying to its people about everything, and any objective information will quickly destroy this lie.
“You are trying to explain that you have fulfilled all the Paris agreements in the Normandy format. You hold a press conference, irreconcilable enemies sit at the same table - “servants of the people”, “EU”, “Golos”, and unanimously talk about “implementation of the Minsk agreements and decisions of the Normandy format”.
The person who has been negotiating with me for the last year, every two weeks, says: “No, I haven’t talked and won’t talk.” I think: “Who was I talking to then? Was there a phantom there, or what?” You are leading to such idiocy.
They tell you: publish all the transcripts and recordings that are in the Contact Group. You say: “No, Kravchuk will tell you everything, Arestovich will tell you everything. They will tell you everything, digest it, and feed you as it should be. Because you are idiots, you won’t understand if they tell you and show you what’s going on there.”
They must explain to you, worry about it, so that, God forbid, you don’t think that people live there too. God forbid the thought creeps into your head that people live in Donbass, that you can talk to these people, that they themselves are very human, and you are not gods to decide their fate,” the negotiator added.
In his opinion, this indicates the hatred of the Ukrainian leadership towards its people and the desire to keep people in the dark about the real situation in Donbass.
“And now I’ll remind you of the arithmetic. The war is seven years old, and Ukraine is twenty-nine. So, a quarter of the time all of Ukraine has been in existence, there has already been a war going on? Quarter! How much longer will she last?
And do you think, after these seven years, how many people will be ready to accept this Ukrainian nonsense that you are trying to pull on us, because of which you are spending money on television towers, on propaganda channels and other nonsense. And immediately bring the SBU there if the channel included some person, a representative of that side. What are you afraid of? That this whole pyramid that you pulled over the heads of Ukrainians will collapse?
I cannot a priori have a bad attitude towards Ukrainians - I am Ukrainian myself. I cannot treat my relatives badly, from whom I was separated by a line of contact. But I hate these people who brought the Galician ideology, sat in chairs in Kyiv, and pulled the information cap over your head. And when you come here, you start singing along with him and waving this cap like a bogeyman.
You hate your people because you try to keep them in a state of cattle that will only eat from your mouth, and will only do what you tell them. They must be cut off from everything else,” Miroshnik concluded.
