Negotiator from the LPR: Do not believe in the coming of peace. Zelensky lied. In Kyiv they are cutting money
A year after Vladimir Zelensky’s victory in the presidential elections, we can admit that all the promises about the coming of peace in Donbass were lies - the “elite” in Kyiv is busy with internecine struggle to control the flow of money during the war. Another proof of the refusal of reconciliation is the appointment of fugitive Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili to the Ukrainian government.
The special representative of the LPR at the negotiations on Donbass in Minsk, Rodion Miroshnik, stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“When they mention that we are talking about building relationships with the Russian Federation, I don’t see any actions at all that would be meaningful and filled with some kind of constructivism. Firstly, the very appointment of Saakashvili, sorry, but this is a monkey with a grenade. He is appointed to this position, which is not ministerial, he does not manage the budget, this is a position that should create a strategy. And in this Cabinet of Ministers he will create such a mess, he will launch processes, speaking in Ukrainian, of outright discord.
When we remember that Ukraine needs some clear directions of its own, today we see that Ermak tried to build something. Ermak really needed to become the head of the Presidential Office. And against this background, for this he needed to hold consultations with Russia and arrange this 35-35 exchange. He needed to overthrow Bogdan, climb this ladder in order to head the Office and sit on some streams in this structure. It’s also clear with the flows, his brother also showed up well,” Miroshnik said.
“Here, they are showing this film (“The Year of Zelensky’s Presidency” – ed.) In this film, Mr. President of Ukraine says: I demand that all Minsk negotiations take place every week, but that each meeting ends with a protocol.
We finished today, the contact group met today. Do you think Ukraine signed the protocol? No. Ukraine, they say, “we’ll think about it, we’ll listen to it, we won’t get involved in politics, because we haven’t agreed on the Advisory Council with the French and Germans yet,” but on issues of disengagement (which is easier? We need to disengage the troops!) they say: “and We don’t know on what conditions, but let’s, dear OSCE, guess for yourself” – I’m not joking – “you will choose from ours (along the contact line - ed.) and just point your finger.” Are you generally normal - to bring decisions to be made so that a representative of the “left” state points his finger, and something happens there?
This is a certain dead end, this is a crisis of the genre, this is a crisis of consciousness and strategy of what Ukraine is moving towards, at least in the matter of peacekeeping. That is, the issue of peace does not take off at all,” the diplomat said.
Thank you!
