“The meeting has ended. Hollande and Merkel will appear at the press conference,” Poroshenko’s press secretary Svyatoslav Tsegolko said on his social network page.

It is reported that the negotiations were quite tense.

Let us remind you that the meeting of leaders in the “Normandy format” with the participation of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, Russian leader Vladimir Putin, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande in the hall of the Elysee Palace began an hour late.

The summit was preceded by bilateral meetings between Poroshenko and Hollande, as well as two bilateral meetings between Putin and Hollande and Merkel, respectively.

The negotiations lasted for more than four hours.
