The Serbian authorities will not conduct a dialogue with Pristina until the separatist regime in Kosovo reverses its decision to impose a 100% import duty on Serbian goods, which actually means a blockade of the Slavic enclaves of the illegally seized region.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced this today in the German capital as part of the summit on the Balkans. The event was also attended by regional presidents, French leader Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and European diplomacy chief Federica Mogherini.

On the eve of bilateral meetings in Berlin between the leaders of Serbia, France and Germany, which are due to take place tomorrow, April 30, Vucic made a statement. He noted the impossibility of continuing dialogue on the Kosovo issue in today's realities.

“There will be no dialogue with Pristina until the local authorities cancel the duty on Serbian goods,” Vučić was quoted as saying by the Pink TV channel. Serbia's position on this issue is supported by two permanent members of the UN Security Council - Russia and China.

However, Kosovo representatives came to the summit with new demands. Now they not only want recognition of the region’s independence from Serbia, but also from five EU countries that did not support the Albanian separatists at one time. These are Slovakia, Romania, Greece, Cyprus and Spain.

The head of the illegal government in Kosovo and Metohija, Hashim Thaci, also said that he would also demand annexation to the edge of the Presevo Valley (Southern Serbia). It borders Macedonia and is not a disputed territory. However, a large number of Albanians live in its area.

French President Macron said that relations between Serbia and Kosovo are a priority for the summit. According to him, allegedly, Germany and France are not going to impose their version of resolving the dispute, but they want to contribute to the search for a peaceful solution.

Meanwhile, the US-backed Albanians are trying to put pressure on the European Union. The nationalist movement of Kosovo Albanians “Self-Determination” has already announced an action in front of the residence of the German Chancellor, where the summit is taking place.

One of the “settlement” plans proposed by the West is the separation of the Presevo Valley from Serbia in exchange for the return of the Serbian enclave to the control of Belgrade

The leader of the movement, previously convicted extremist Albin Kurti, announced that he would organize an “Albanian spring” here if any negotiations between Pristina and Belgrade continue. Because he believes that any agreement between them “violates the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Kosovo,” writes the Balkanist portal.

As PolitNavigator reported, the day before Serbian Defense Minister Alexander Vulin said that NATO is arming Albanian terrorists.

The United States needs the Greater Albania project in order to have control over transport and energy corridors in the Balkans, say representatives of the Serbian Foreign Ministry.

In recent months, street protests by local opposition have intensified in Serbia demanding the overthrow of President Aleksandar Vucic. According to observers, the street protests are incited by the West to pressure on the Serbian authorities during negotiations on the fate of Kosovo.

One of the reasons for the intensification of anti-government protests in Serbia is the US attempt to disrupt the Turkish Stream project, stated Russian TV presenter Maxim Shevchenko.

Experts believe that if the Maidan in Belgrade is successful, All Russian projects in Serbia will be under threat.

At the end of last year, the Kosovo authorities also imposed a virtual blockade on the supply of goods from Serbia to the Slavic enclaves. Pristina's actions constitute genocide against the Serbian population, said Russian State Duma deputy Pavel Dorokhin.

The Russian Foreign Ministry condemned actions of the authorities in Pristina.
