Negotiations in Minsk: Gerashchenko threw a new tantrum
Today's negotiations on Donbass in Minsk were marked by a new hysteria of the Vice-Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Irina Gerashchenko, who committed a gross violation of the Minsk agreements, declaring her refusal to direct negotiations with the LDPR prescribed in the agreements.
Gerashchenko herself announced this by publishing a corresponding entry on her Facebook page, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There was a difficult, tough discussion with a demand to immediately stop the violence and escalation. In particular, we categorically do not accept the position of the Russian Federation on “direct negotiations” with the “republics”. The war in Donbass and Crimea was started by the Russian Federation, with it, and not puppets, we will talk about Moscow’s responsibility for ending the violence and implementing the Minsk agreements,” she wrote.
Also, according to Gerashchenko, an official appeal was sent to the OSCE coordinator in the humanitarian group, Tony Frisch, demanding to immediately visit prisons in the DPR and LPR, where Ukrainian militants are being held.
