Negotiations in Minsk have completely failed, Ukraine is rapidly moving towards NATO, - Limonov
Minsk - Kyiv, December 25 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) - Negotiations on the fate of Donbass, which took place the night before in Minsk, completely failed.
This was announced by Eduard Limonov, the leader of the banned National Bolshevik Party, whose representatives are fighting in the ranks of the militia in the Donbass.
He draws attention to the fact that the top officials of the DPR and LPR did not participate in the negotiations; Ukraine was represented by former President Leonid Kuchma.

“The negotiations lasted six hours, the participants left at ten o’clock in the evening. After the meeting, the negotiators did not go out to the journalists who had been waiting for them all this time. They ran away because there was nothing to declare. They didn’t come out because it was necessary to admit a complete failure, and the participants were not authorized to do this by their leadership,” states Limonov.
“This is not just a failure of negotiations, it is a failure of policy. And not least, but first, this is a failure of Russian policy. Failure of caution, failure of ingratiation, failure of the policy of indecisiveness, failure of the policy of half-solutions, failure of the desire to appease the US and the EU, but not to abandon the people's republics of Donbass to their fate. The policy of sitting on two chairs is a failure,” the writer believes.
“Why did the failure happen? The parties to the conflict have their own opposing goals: the DPR and LPR have independence and territorial claims to all territories of the former Donetsk and Lugansk regions. Ukraine, for its part, has not removed its claims even to Crimea, and does not intend to give up the territories liberated today by fighters of the DPR and LPR. Having realized during the war that Ukraine could not cope on its own, could not conquer the DPR and LPR, Petro Poroshenko set a course for joining NATO, and is flying to NATO at all times. The Rada has already canceled Ukraine’s neutral status, and next is a referendum on Ukraine’s accession to NATO.
And NATO will accept Ukraine, in any form, in order to lull the Russian side, NATO leaders are now lying that this is a long process, but you’ll see, it will become a quick thing,” warns Limonov.
