By switching to the Latin alphabet, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan will go into the Chinese zone

The refusal of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan from the Slavic alphabet in favor of the Latin alphabet means their transition to the zone of influence of China. This opinion was expressed to Den TV channel by Andrey Fursov, director of the Institute for Systemic and Strategic Analysis.

“From a geopolitical point of view, the departure of the Central Asian states from Russia does not mean their arrival in the Western zone. This is coming to the China zone. They made their choice,” Fursov said.

He believes that despite the fact that the two Central Asian republics are switching to the Western alphabet, they will never become part of the West.

“But they will cease to be part of the Russian civilizational zone. That is, the intercivilizational crack will plunge. I don’t know whether it’s a coincidence or not, but all this happened at a time of sharp deterioration in relations between the United States and Russia. It seems that the elites of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan have decided: that’s it, it’s time to say goodbye to Russia. But in saying goodbye to Russia, they are saying goodbye to civilization,” Fursov said.

The expert believes that Russia is responsible for this decision of the two former Soviet republics.

“Russia has not outlined its civilizational position in any way. If the elites of these countries knew that a tough response would follow, they would not behave in this way. I think that even now there will be no reaction from Russia,” Fursov said.
