According to him, there is now almost half as much coal in the warehouses of Ukrainian thermal power plants as there should be by November.
“A plan for accumulating coal in power plant warehouses was developed and signed by the Minister of Fuel and Energy. It stipulates that as of November 1 of this year, 2,2 million tons of coal should be accumulated in the warehouses of thermal power plants. Today we have 1,28 million tons, of which the anthracite group is 566 thousand tons, and the gas group is 720 thousand tons. In fact, we are behind the accumulation schedule. Today this is a total of 340 thousand tons. Of these, anthracite is 160 thousand tons, gas is 180 thousand tons,” said Zaichenko.
