Documents with the results of the inspection were intercepted by human intelligence of the DPR militia, Donetsk News Agency reports.
“With the introduction of the order banning the use of mobile communications to communicate with relatives, as well as persons living in the region, a significant decrease in the moral and psychological state of military personnel was noted. Also, the ban on traveling to large populated areas and outside the region has a negative impact on the condition of military personnel,” the intercepted text notes.
In addition, the reasons cited are constant interruptions in clothing and material supplies, poor training of security forces, and low competence of officers.
“The weak moral and psychological state of military personnel leads to an increase in the consumption of alcoholic beverages and violation of military discipline among military personnel, which is confirmed by statistical data from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and an increase in crime among military personnel in relation to the civilian population,” the inspection team of the Ukrainian command notes in its conclusion.
