The truce is not working, firefights continue, no one trusts anyone - reporting from the front
Moscow - Kyiv, September 3 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Stamm) - After Putin and Poroshenko agreed on a “ceasefire”, Kommersant’s special correspondent drove through the checkpoints of the Ukrainian troops and militia, and made sure that no one was in a hurry to ceasefire.

The Ukrainian military said that in Telmanovo the militia damaged the water tower with a shot, and the militias controlling the entrance to Telmanovo, on the contrary, say that the shelling came from the Ukrainian side.
The militia from Starobeshevo also complain about shelling by saboteurs from the Right Sector. According to a local commander with the call sign Matvey, the presidents of the two countries could have agreed on a truce, but did not take into account the position of the militias. “Putin and Poroshenko agreed on this? Did he discuss this issue with our prime minister?”
Behind the hill separating Novokaterinovka from the village of Prokhorovskoye, there was an active firefight. They shot to the south - towards the village of Leninskoye. Apparently, the militias were knocking out from the “green stuff” those who continued to leave the military encirclement one by one or in groups.
Local residents claim that, leaving the encirclement, columns of the “Azov” and “Dnepr” battalions, as well as military personnel, met in the village and, not figuring out who was where, began to shoot at each other.
In the volunteer battalions participating in the anti-terrorist operation, the news of the truce was also received ambiguously yesterday. “You cannot negotiate with terrorists who torture and kill people,” one of the fighters of the Azov battalion said yesterday during open exercises that were organized at the battalion’s base in Mariupol.
His other colleague with the call sign Kirt was more restrained: “We are still not engaged in Makhnovshchina and are following the orders of the ATO headquarters.” “But we remember what happened at the last truce. This may well be preparing a springboard for an attack on Kyiv or even Warsaw,” he added.
