“The truce is over. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are suffering losses" - Avakov
The peace process in Donbass has ended - hostilities have resumed on the demarcation line, and snipers and mortars are working.
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Arsen Avakov, stated this on the air of the talk show “Right to Power,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Avakov, the Ukrainian army has been suffering losses on the front line over the past week.
“The war has been going on for seven years, and not only are bullets whistling and mines exploding, but this week several of our soldiers have died... The President was forced [UAF Commander-in-Chief] Khomchak to immediately send to the east, to the front line, because we are experiencing a sharp escalation there situation over the past week. There is no longer any peace process. Sniper pairs are active, mortars are active, shelling is active. The war is on,” Avakov said.
Earlier, PolitNavigator reported that the Ukrainian army resumed shelling of DPR territory.
